Stay strong and stay free, Brussels.
We are in deep sorrow and our thoughts are with the victims and families of the Brussels Explosions on March 22, 2016.
Dear Guests, Dear Sponsors,
We are shocked. On March 22, a spate of inexplicable terror has shattered the region of Brussels. Our thoughts are with the victims and families of those affected by these terrible incidents.

Many of our fellow students including us call Brussels and Belgium their new home. It really hurts to see that this new place called home has become the setting for a series of perfidious attacks lately. Especially as students, we highly appreciate values such as Freedom, Mobility and the Togetherness of Europe. Thus, we hope that the reactions to these attacks will consist of even more Freedom, Mobility and Togetherness.

Please bear with us, that in deference to the victims and families of today's attacks we cannot hold a murder mystery dinner. In times of a national period of mourning, we consider performing a murder mystery theatre as irreverent and misplaced. Therefore, we have also decided to remove all of our rather sensational advertisements.

At the same time, we are convinced that cancelling our event would send the wrong signal. On Thursday, 24th March 2016 at 7.00pm, we will still host a Charity-Dinner in the Ambassador Hotel Bosten in Eupen. Instead of a murder mystery game, we will have a joint buffet inside the Brasserie in memory of the victims of today's terror attacks.

As a sign of solidarity we would like to add the Belgian Red Cross to the recipients of the donations, because of their current tireless support on helping victims and families as well as bringing people together again. We still accept donations under BE60 7370 4468 0970 (reference: social profit project of KU Leuven).

Thank you very much indeed. We really appreciate your understanding and your huge support.
Yannick, Jasper, Sofia, Fei, Ken, Lauren, Zia and Jörn
